For my Perfect Lip shoot I am going to create a bold Pink Ombre Lip. I have researched Ombre lips and found inspiration from Rimmels campaign shoots taking the bold bright approach and think that this look is perfect for what I want to capture.
Here I have practised on my own lips. Because unfortunately I have such teeny tiny lips, I have taken my MAC lip liner just outside my natural lip line to create a plumper look. I have used my MAC lip mixers in Red, White and Yellow. First I mixed the Red with a tiny bit of White and outlined the lips following on the inside of the lip liner. I then added more white and dabbed it further into the inside of my lips. I finished off by added plain white in the centre patting it gently with my little finger. I have left my look Matte, but if I wanted to make my lips look even bigger I would have added a small amount of gloss the the centre of both of my lips. I wanted to keep the eyes plain on this look to to keep it pretty and simple so that all focus is purely on the lips.
I really like the idea of this shoot with the background image being of London. I want to re-create an image inspired by this for my Lip shoot to give the impression that it is in London. One idea that I have had is to take a head shot of the make-up with Tall buildings out of focus in the background. I think that this will look really effective.
I like the idea of this image of Leah Weller shot in Brighton outside a grand street of white buildings/houses. This is the same idea that i want to portray with my beauty shoot, only the buildings being less obvious, focusing more on the make-up.
